London’s Square Mile is the greatest concentration of financial institutions in the world. In eras past, it has been the nerve center for the British Empire’s round-the-world holdings. Even in the aftermath of the imperial collapse, it maintained many links to London’s former territories.
Currently, London is the first stop for money fleeing mainland European tax rates. As the European Union politically and economically falters, London is about to become a very busy place.
